In 2026, my original Amazon Studios film Back to the 90s premiered on Prime Video globally and hit #2 globally within 48h— a project I was asked by Amazon MGM to conceive and write a movie for the Elevator Boys, one of the world's biggest social media acts with 40 million followers across platforms. It's the kind of project that shouldn't exist by conventional industry logic: an original idea by a writer with no prior feature credits, only TV credits. When I got my TV credits, I had no prior credits, nor did I ever climb the ladder. I just started in the writers’ room, as a writer. Why?
